Highlights · Two boys were killed on 14 December by a UXO reported to be a remnant of the 6th cycle of conflict between government forces and the Houthis.

· Abyan displaced people inflicted massive damage on the infrastructure of schools used as shelters for several months, including sewage and latrine facilities as well as furniture. A recent UNICEF assessment concluded that a total of $2 million would be required for rehabilitation.

· 58,338 severely acute malnourished children were treated in 374 Community Management of Acute Malnutrition facilities in the past 11 months (January - November 2011).

· 21 schools in Sana’a were identified for urgent response to allow children to get back to school.
