Child labor is an extremely widespread phenomenon found all across the globe. There are nearly 168 million children working, many of whom are exploited. These young people can be found in fields, factories, homes, down in the depths of mines and even within prostitution networks. The fight against exploitation is at the heart of the Terre des hommes (Tdh) protection program. Every year Tdh provides assistance to more than 200,000 children victims of this scourge.
