Attachments

The Technical Note is intended to support the Humanitarian and Resident Coordinators, the United Nations Country Teams and the Humanitarian Country Teams, PSEA coordinators and networks, GBV and CP sub-cluster coordinators and other actors to implement the UN Protocol on the Provision of Assistance to Victims of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse, and to deliver on the relevant IASC commitments towards scaling up quality assistance for survivors of SEA, as part of the IASC Plan for Accelerating PSEA in Humanitarian Response at Country-Level. The Protocol establishes a common set of standards for the provision of assistance to victims of SEA. It was developed with reference to existing GBV and CP standards for assistance to survivors/victims of gender-based violence, including child sexual abuse, as well as relevant UN policies.

Aim: The aim of the training is to support practitioners at the field level – particularly PSEA coordinators, PSEA networks, PSEA focal points, GBV and CP coordinators and specialists, and related actors – to broaden their knowledge of the Protocol and to provide practical guidance on how to implement it at country level.
