The Terms of Reference for the Review s et out two main areas of work (Annex I).
The first is an external focus to scope ou t in the international domain the emerging good practices in implementing what is increasingly termed ‘gender - responsive peacebuilding’. The second area focuses on the PBSO itself and the UN Peacebuilding Fund (PBF) and its efforts and potential to promote and enhance the implementation of gender - responsive peacebuilding programmes through targeted and mainstreaming approaches.
