Mr. Geleta, who was a political prisoner, humanitarian, refugee and clerk, before becoming the Secretary General of the International Federation of the Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (IFRC), will share his 20 years of experience in humanitarian work during DIHAD 2009 Conference which is held under the theme "Empowering Communities: From Disaster to Development, and he will discuss methods to overcome current humanitarian challenges at a time when Humanitarian solutions and initiatives are most needed.
