Explore the Route-Based Programming Approach

In an increasingly dynamic and complex migratory context, Route-Based Programming (RBP) emerges as an innovative approach that prioritizes continuous and coordinated assistance along migratory routes, rather than being restricted by national borders. This model aims to ensure that people on the move receive timely and needs-based support.

Since 2023, we have been working inter-agency to consolidate this approach by developing tools, conducting assessments at Points of Interest (PoIs) identified along the North of Central America and Southern Mexico migratory route, and facilitating regional dialogue spaces.
