Representative of the Secretary General on Internally Displaced Persons
on achievements and remaining challenges over the past 10 years.
For this purpose, it goes through the four
pillars of the Representative's mission; development and promotion of a
normative framework on internal displacement; fostering effective institutional
arrangements; country missions, dialogue with governments; and research
into new and emerging areas.
In addition, the report reviews a number
of suggestions made with regard to the future work and the role of the
mandate.
