Meningococcal Disease
- New Zealand: The latest report provided on 13 November 2018, a significant increase in Neisseria meningitidis serogroup W (MenW). Compared with 2017, the number has doubled in 2018 with 24 cases reported as of 5 November, 2018 including 6 deaths. The Northland region is the most affected area in 2018 with 7 of the 24 cases from this region.
