  • Acute Fever and Rash: Federal States of Micronesia, French Polynesia, Kiribati, Solomon Island, Vanuatu, and Samoa.

  • Prolonged Fever: Federated States of Micronesia

Meningococcal Disease

  • New Zealand: The latest report provided on 13 November 2018, a significant increase in Neisseria meningitidis serogroup W (MenW). Compared with 2017, the number has doubled in 2018 with 24 cases reported as of 5 November, 2018 including 6 deaths. Polio

  • No new cases for circulating vaccine-derived polio virus type 1 (cVDPV1) were reported this week from PNG. Total number of cases for the country in 2018 remains at 21. Source: Polio Global Eradiaction Initiative
