Polio
- On the 13th of September, 2018 the Papua New Guinea National Department of Health (NDOH) announced the expansion of its Polio vaccination campaign targeting children in the National Capital District to begin on the 24thSeptember, 2018 then to the rest of the country from 1 October, 2018. On 11th September, 2018, two additional polio cases reported from Eastern Highlands Province. As of 12 September, 2018 PNG has confirmed a total of 12 case of polio: four in Eastern Highlands, three in Morobe, two in Enga, two in Madang and one in the National Capital District.
