The 13th annual AidEx gives more than 3,000 professionals a platform to help shape the future of the aid and development sector at Palexpo, Geneva in Switzerland. As Europe’s meetings capital, Geneva provides the ideal environment for discussion, networking and showcasing trends for the enhancement of international humanitarian and development assistance.

AidEx is co-located with Development2030, a global event uniting international development actors in pursuit of sustainable development goals. Both events allow aid, relief and development professionals to network and explore the latest innovations, meet new suppliers and share experiences with peers. There is significant participation from UN agencies, the EU, Red Cross and Red Crescent societies, local and international NGOs, donors, foundations, government, and the private sector.

Both events attract high calibre speakers, including Birgitte Nygaard Markussen, Director Humanitarian Assistance, Civil Society and Engagement, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Denmark; Lanre Williams-Ayedun, SVP for International Programs, World Relief; Simon Lucas, Head of Profession for Infrastructure, Climate and Environment, FCDO; Andrew Harper, Special Adviser Climate Action, UNHCR; Stephanie Dei, Head of Private Sector Partnerships Division, IOM; Alyoscia D'Onofrio, Vice President and Head of Technical Excellence, International Rescue Committee; Fati N'Zi-Hassane, Africa Director, Oxfam International; Pablo Bredt Torres, Team Lead - Humanitarian Supply Chain, USAID Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance, among others.

Stellar Development Foundation returns as Headline Sponsor of AidEx and will make the welcome address on Day One. The AidEx and Development2030 Awards Ceremony and Drinks Reception, sponsored by Deloitte, celebrates stand-out individuals and the latest innovations, all helping to improve humanitarian aid and disaster relief processes. Award categories include the Humanitarian Hero Award (sponsored by UPS Foundation), the Aid Innovation Challenge and the ‘SDG Programme of the Year’ Award.
