This study focuses on peace promotion and
youth promotion as two of the challenges faced in the field of development
cooperation of central importance to the future orientation and sustainability
of Technical Cooperation.
It examines the link between the two - crisis prevention, conflict management and peace promotion on the one hand, and how best to strengthen adolescents and young adults as the driving force behind social development on the other.
Specifically, it discusses specific opportunities available to effectively promote conflict prevention and peace in education and youth-promotion measures and presents some of the key related findings and standpoints of the specialist debate, as well as provides an overview of the central objectives and contents as well as the principles of learning and attendant methodology.
