On 9 April 2020, the Government issued Resolution No. 42/NQ-CP on measures to support people facing difficulties due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Conclusion at the Government Permanent meeting on prevention of Covid-19 (notification No. 153/TB-VPCP dated 9 April 2020) The Prime Minister requested to continue strictly implementing urgent measures under the Directive No. 16/CT-TTg, apply until 15 April 2020, absolutely must not be loose and subjective .

WEEK HIGHLIGHTS

VNRC at National Headquarter:

  • Organized a meeting of Steering Committee on Covid 19 prevention at NHQ and control to assess the responses and develop the action plan upcoming time.

  • Collaborated with the Trade union of Heath sector of Vietnam to distribute the dairy products donated by Abbott Company for hospitals in Hanoi.

  • Collected and updated Covid 19 situation at localities; and developed support plans for Provincial Red Cross chapters in coming time.

  • Distributed 100 gifts with the value of 160 millions Vietnam dongs at Cu Chi distric and Distric 8 of Ho Chi Minh city.
    City/Provincial Red Cross chapters:

  • Deployed the VNRC’s Appeal on Drought and Saline intrusion and Covid 19 prevention.

  • Supported communities on:

10.500 medical disposal marks distributed

8.000 276.422 soap, handwashs, sanitizers.

120 dissemination points and events

4.500 people attended

1.500 flyers distributed.
