Over the last few days, Tuyên Quang province in northeastern Viet Nam has been affected by storms, strong winds, and landslides, resulting in fatalities and damage.
According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) and as of 11 July, one person died due to a lightning strike and 13 houses had to be evacuated, with a total of 280 people affected. In addition, 70 buildings were affected and 0.66 ha of cropland were damaged.
Over the next 48 hours, additional rain is forecast for northeastern Viet Nam and the rest of the country.
