- Over the last few days, Tuyên Quang province in northeastern Viet Nam has been affected by storms, strong winds, and landslides, resulting in fatalities and damage.
- According to the ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) and as of 11 July, one person died due to a lightning strike and 13 houses had to be evacuated, with a total of 280 people affected. In addition, 70 buildings were affected and 0.66 ha of cropland were damaged.
- Over the next 48 hours, additional rain is forecast for northeastern Viet Nam and the rest of the country.
