- Severe weather has been affecting the Northeast (Ðông Bac) and Northwest (Tây Bac) regions of Viet Nam since 22 June, resulting in casualties and damage.
- The ASEAN Disaster Information Network (ADINet) reports two fatalities and three people injured as of 23 June. A total of 1,060 people were internally displaced; Thai Nguyen evacuated 265 households, which have already returned home. Of the 794 affected houses, 370 were partially damaged. Damage to roads and cropland was also reported.
- Over the next 24 hours, additional rain and thunderstorms are expected across the entire Viet Nam, including the northeast and northwest regions.
