Damage caused by new flooding – early December 1999 in Central Provinces: (According to reports from provinces)

Spring-winter rice 100% damaged:22,470 ha

Subsidiary crops damaged:15,190 ha

Industrial and fruit trees damaged:16,650 ha

Crops field buried: 2,900 ha

Southern Seed Company: 400 tons

National Seed Company No.1: 500 tons

Seed Companies of Southern Provinces: 5,000 tons

Ha Tay Seed Company: 800 tons

Thai Binh Seed Company: 500 tons

Nam Dinh Seed Company: 500 tons

Thanh Hoa Seed Company: 500 tons

Nghe An Seed Company: 400 tons

Nha Ho Cotton Research Company: 450 tons

Types of rice seed available are 13/2, Khang Dan 18, Ai 32. X21, O mon 756, O mon 94, OMCS96, Ma Lam 98, Thuan Hai 85, and IR66707

Corn seeds: Total: 1,200 tons

Corn Research Institute: 250 tons

Bioseed Company: 850 tons

Other companies: 100 tons

Types of corn seeds available are LVN10, P11, DK888, 9681, and 9698.

Vegetable seeds of all kinds: Total: 40 tons

National Vegetable and Fruit Company: 30 tons

Southern Seeds Company: 10 tons
