Heavy rainfall has been affecting western and northern Venezuela since May, causing floods, river overflow, landslides, and floods that have resulted in affected people and damage.
As of 20 June, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) reports at least 4,615 affected people across the states of Zulia, Táchira, Amazonas, Apure, Bolívar, Monagas, Sucre, Mérida, Barinas and Trujillo.
Over the next 72 hours, more rainfall is expected over Venezuela, with local heavy rainfall over the western part of the country.
