PLAN SCOPE
The extension of the Humanitarian Response Plan 2024–2025 presents the strategic lines of work of the United Nations System and its partners to ensure a prioritised response based on humanitarian principles and the provision of essential services and social protection for the most vulnerable. The organisations are committed to working in a coordinated, inclusive, and complementary manner, putting people at the centre of the response.
In 2024, we will continue multisectoral activities in the following strategic areas: health, food security, nutrition, protection risks, human mobility, emergency preparedness and response, and provision and access to essential services, including education.
The extension of the Humanitarian Response Plan will be implemented at the municipal level to strengthen partners' operational presence and cooperate more efficiently with State authorities.
A comprehensive approach will be promoted under a humanitarian-development nexus approach to guarantee the impact and sustainability of actions, gender equality, the centrality of protection, and localisation.
