Gaps of social deprivation in Venezuela's complex humanitarian crisis (June 2025)

Attachments

Report by HumVenezuela focused on evaluating social deprivation gaps resulting from the structural collapse of the country's internal capacities to guarantee the population’s rights to live in dignity and to be free from threats to life, integrity, security, subsistence, and freedom. This work updates the community assessments conducted in 2023.

The results show that the greatest gaps and humanitarian needs caused by the collapse are found in access to drinking water, which ranked among the three most urgent needs in 65.2% of communities, followed by health care in 52.3% and electrical service in 47.8%.
