Brother's Brother Foundation's efforts for the people in Venezuela

Pittsburgh, January 7, 2000 - Brother's Brother Foundation is making an appeal for ongoing financial support of it's effort to provide requested, vital medical supplies, food, and rescue equipment for the reclamation efforts in Venezuela.
BBF and Heinz USA have united to ship 93 tons of food to the devastated region. MSA has also donated and covered the cost of shipping over 21 tons of safety equipment. BBF to date has received $52,000 in private cash donations designated for the Venezuelan relief project.

Brother's Brother Foundation identifies critically needed and requested goods, and uses donated funds to purchase materials or ship products that are donated by corporations.

The resettlement of 400,000 people has just begun. Brother's Brother will continue to assist in immediate and long-term reclamation efforts, forwarding additional food and medical supplies to relief workers on an ongoing basis.
