Overview

  • From 4" to 17" November 2024, a total of 301 watery diarrhea cases has been reported in Vanuatu. A total of 191 cases for EW45 and 118 cases for EW46.
  • The number of cases reported In EW46 dropped to 118 this is below the alert threshold
  • Most cases have been reported from NTM clinic, Saupia Health centre and Vila Central Hospital (VCH), with individuals coming from North Efate, Freshwota, seaside, malapoa, anaburu, bladinia, Teouma and Erakor.
  • Case definition: Three or more lose or watery stools in 24 hours.
