Vanuatu markets try to get back to selling

Efforts are underway to get food markets in Vanuatu operating again as the country recovers from Cyclone Pam.

Selling local produce at the market is a vital source of cash for women, but with trees and root crops destroyed, there's little for them to sell.

Fortunately, women who work at the market in Luganville,m which was not as badly affected, have come to the rescue.

Morris Kaloran, national project coordinator for "Markets For Change", which is run by UN Women and funded by the Australian government, explains.
