Situation Overview
Sectorial technical assessment commenced on the 17th of March 2018 by cluster grouping representing vital sectors such as Agriculture ,WASH ,Shelter, Gender, Education, Health and Logistic .
Tropical Cyclone Hola Sectorial detail technical assessment was strategically prioritizes base on the scope of aerial surveillance covered areas for each island. The Ambae Volcanic assessment team comprise of water sector specialist and volcanologist specialist deployed on the 22th March to 27th March 2018 to assess the volcanic impacts on food, water, livestock, people’s health and environment. Base on the field assessment findings, the first humanitarian relief supplies were then dispatched for most identified affected communities on Malekula,Ambae,Malo ,Pentecost and Ambrym.
General Coordination

The National Disaster Management Office continue to coordinate the immediate humanitarian response at national level, while continue to coordinate with the provincial government from Penama ,Malampa and Sanma. to implementation relief distribution activities within their respective provinces.
Provincial Level
The Provincial government from Malampa,Sanma and Penama provide support to assist the National government in coordinating smooth distribution of relief supplies to affected communities.
