Direct Relief USA Reaching Out to Partners Treating People Affected by Arizona Wildfires

Direct Relief reached out to its 15 Arizona based community health center and free clinic partners to determine the medical needs of those affected by the Wallow fire. N95 particulate masks, inhalers, and respiratory medications are key items in the prevention and treatment of respiratory problems caused by smoke inhalation. Direct Relief has a long history of responding to fires throughout Los Angeles, San Diego, and Santa Barbara Counties. Staff is prepared to coordinate shipments of specifically requested medical products and supplies to Arizona safety-net providers.
