UZAZI STAHA

Uzazi Staha (CPRC) is a five-Year (May 2020 - May 2025) project under the New Partnerships Initiative (NPI) working with and through community and facility-based health services to increase the uptake of Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child, Adolescent Health, and Family Planning (RMNCAH + FP) services and strengthen respectful maternity care (RMC) in Tanzania.

OBJECTIVES

  • Uzazi Staha will contribute to the reduction of maternal and child morbidity and mortality. The activity will support the GOT to improve uptake of RMNCAH, FP and nutrition services by addressing disrespect and abusive maternal care through innovative community and facility-based interventions.

  • Americares, a first time USAID prime partner has a subaward with Christian Social Services Commission (CSSC) a local partner in Tanzania to leverage the expertise and reach of local and locally established networks and organizations by building their institutional capacity.
