Heavy rains throughout the weekend caused extensive flooding with following damage and destruction in Dar es Salaam.
As of 14th April, 19 casualties were reported (including 6 children)
TRCS initial reports approximately 20,000 people affected
Light/small vehicles have been allowed to cross different damages bridges connecting Dar with other parts of the country
UN have not received any request for assistance from Government yet
