The figures in this report have been updated to reflect the results of a continuous biometric registration and verification exercise in countries of asylum.
The total figures include additions (new arrivals and births) and subtractions (departures, deaths, noshows during food distributions and deactivations).
On 20 April 2018, the highest emergency level (L3), which was declared by the UN on 20 October 2017 for six months for some parts of DRC, including the Kasai region,
South Kivu and Tanganyika provinces, was deactivated.
The L1 which was activated on 10 September 2017 for Zambia and the L2 on 16 February for Uganda, are ongoing.
As of the end of July, UNHCR received $37.5 million for the DRC situation, representing only 10 per cent of the total requirements for 2018, which amount to $368.7 million.
The interagency Regional Refugee Response Plan (RRRP) for the DRC situation has received $59.6 million, as at 17 July, representing only 11 per cent of the total requirements for 2018, which amount to $547 million.
