DONETSK FILTER STATION SHELLED:
The WASH Cluster was informed that during the night of December 1st / 2nd, Donetska Filter station (DFS) was shelled. This morning, staff identified unexploded ordnance (UXO) near to the main filters building within the territory of station. Voda Donbasa has informed the authorities about the incident.
DFS supplies water to the following settlements: Avdiivka, Kruta Balka, Vasylivka, Mineralne, Yakovlivka, Verkhniotoretske, part of Yasynuvata and western areas of Donetsk city, and it officially provides water in total to 345,309 people (December 2016 figures from Voda Donbasa).
