Voda Donbasa informed the WASH Cluster that Donetsk Filter Station was under shelling during the night (10th to 11th February 2018). All staff were in the bomb shelter and only in the morning, were they able to assess all of the territory of the filter station. Staff identified a hole in the concrete fence and a broken glass block in the sand filters building. Fortunately, there is no injuries and DFS continue to cooperate in normal mode.

DFS supplies water to the following settlements: Avdiivka, Kruta Balka, Vasylivka, Mineralne, Yakovlivka, Verkhniotoretske, part of Yasynuvata and western areas of Donetsk city, and it officially provides water in total to 345,309 people (December 2016 figures from Voda Donbasa). The WASH Cluster will report any specific needs or updates to WASH Cluster partners.
