HIGHLIGHTS

  • In corporation with the United Nations Central Emergency Response Fund, WHO handed over two ambulances to the Lviv oblast center of emergency medical assistance and medicine disasters. For more information, click here.

  • From 27 to 30 June representatives from WHO and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention trained 24 national- and regional-level epidemiologists across Ukraine on unique aspects of conducting traditional field epidemiology in emergency conditions, as well as additional epidemiological methods and information management services used in responding to health emergencies. The trainings were conducted with financial support from the World Bank in Ukraine. For more information, click here.
