Situation Overview

The ceasefire in Eastern Ukraine is holding despite sporadic incidents. However UXO and mines remain an issue and all movement is restricted to known corridors.

The Logistics Cluster now has a Logistics Civil Military Liaison Officerin Donetsk to facilitate logistics operations for all humanitarian partners, as well as a liaison/information officer.

A Logistics Officer is based at the transfer warehousein Dnipropetrovsk to coordinate with partners and overseecommonstorage/transport to Donetsk.

Customsand Procurement

Registration and taxation for humanitarian organizations not already accredited in Ukraineremain an issue. OCHA is addressing the topicsat government level to try and ease these constraints.
