Highlights
● Unexploded ordnances and mines contamination are a major challenge for the return to normalcy in many conflict-affected areas.
● Bureaucratic hurdles continue to prevent access to non-government controlled areas, affecting humanitarian operations. The first humanitarian food convoy since December travelled from Severodonetsk to Luhansk this week.
● Lack of money and the devaluation of the currency triggered returns in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, despite the prevailing insecurity.
