Situation overview

An estimated 3.9 million people live in areas directly affected by violence.
Insecurity and intensification of fighting heavily affected the population residing in Donbas region and newly affected areas to the south-east, while also reducing the capacity of the local structures to respond.
Fighting has caused significant damage to local infrastructure affecting access to basic life-supporting services and supplies.
