  • On September 6, U.S. Secretary of State Antony J. Blinken announced more than $206 million in additional humanitarian assistance for the people of Ukraine, bringing the total USG contribution to the response to more than $2.8 billion since February 2022.

  • GoR forces continued to target civilian population centers across Ukraine with waves of aerial attacks in recent weeks, including a September 6 attack against Donetsk Oblast’s Kostiantynivka city that resulted in at least 17 civilian deaths and injury to at least 32 other people.

  • USG partners delivered critical humanitarian assistance to frontline communities through UN-led convoys during August.
