A convoy of the Russian Emergencies Ministry carrying relief goods for the people of Luhansk and Donetsk regions set off from the Noginsk Rescue Center on 15 Febraury.
At the Don Rescue Center in the settlement of Kovalyovka, the trucks from Noginsk were joined by ones from other regions.
This is the first convoy that is going to deliver relief goods to Luhansk and Donetsk regions in 2016.
The 49th Emergencies Ministry humanitarian convoy is going to deliver to Donetsk and Luhansk regions over 1,000 tons of humanitarian aid.
Before taking off, the trucks were checked, all of them are in good working conditions, the drivers have extensive experience in such humanitarian operations and are ready to move out.
Earlier, since the middle of August 2014, Emergencies Ministry humanitarian convoys have delivered to Luhansk and Donetsk regions more than 58 thousand tons of relief goods.
