Methodology

The research on access to educational services and safe learning environments in communities was conducted using data collected and visualized through the Settlement Sustainability Assessment (SSA) Dashboard - an analytical tool designed to evaluate community resilience and the level of provision of key services. The SSA methodology combines quantitative and qualitative indicators, providing a comprehensive overview of infrastructure conditions, access to basic resources, demographic characteristics, and safety factors in each community.

The recovery of such communities is a complex and multifaceted process that requires clear organization and detailed analysis. The methodological approach of this study included several key stages:

  • Systematization of SSA Dashboard data, which provides quantitative indicators for each community across different sectors;
  • Comparative analysis between communities and regions through the calculation of averages and identification of deviations, allowing the detection of communities with the highest and lowest levels of provision;
  • Analysis of vulnerable groups, particularly internally displaced children and children with disabilities;
  • Assessment of infrastructural limitations, such as the absence of shelters in schools and kindergartens.

Each of these stages has specific tasks and tools that ensure effective data collection, verification, and analysis
