Abstract

The purpose of this publication is to document and share promising practices in legal aid provision across three countries—Ukraine, Poland, and Sweden—focusing on support for internally displaced persons within Ukraine and persons with temporary protection status in Poland and Sweden. Combining insights from desk research, stakeholder interviews, meetings and observations, the report highlights needs of the target group, promising practices in legal aid provision, and offers actionable recommendations to improve legal aid accessibility, coordination, and scalability. This publication can serve as a resource for stakeholders involved in legal aid provision and to inspire the replication of successful practices in other contexts.
