Ternopil, Ukraine - September 7, 2023 - German NGO CADUS, represented by Dr. Michail Liontiris, Medical Director at CADUS, and Louis Kennedy, Programme Manager Education and Trainings at CADUS, is pleased to announce a collaborative partnership with the Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine of Ternopil (CEMC), represented by Olexandr Ripka, Director, and Deputy Tetiana Sukharska. The primary objective of this collaboration is to enhance the education and training of pre-hospital emergency medical professionals in Ukraine.
On September 7th, 2023, CADUS and CEMC Ternopil formalized this partnership, which promises to make a significant impact on emergency medical services in the region. CEMC Ternopil is a vital provider of pre-hospital care, serving the people of Ternopil and its surrounding areas.
As a result of this collaboration, CEMC Ternopil will receive access to five CME (continuous medical education) certified, specialized courses provided by CADUS. These courses are designed to train participants and instructors, ensuring a sustainable and continuous educational program across Ternopil. They will equip CEMC Ternopil's medical professionals with advanced knowledge and skills to improve the quality of care they deliver to their patients.
CEMC Ternopil, under the leadership of Olexandr Ripka and Deputy Tetiana Sukharska, has established a strong network that extends to all 25 Oblasts in Ukraine. This collaboration will leverage CEMC Ternopil's extensive connections within the emergency medical services sector to engage other CEMC units across the country. The goal is to collectively elevate the standards of pre-hospital emergency medical care on a national scale.
Louis Kennedy, Programme Manager Education and Trainings at CADUS, added, "This partnership is a testament to the commitment of both organizations to improving healthcare. By working together, we aim to make a tangible and lasting impact on the quality of pre-hospital emergency medical services.“
