Uganda: Multilateral contribution, 21 Oct 2008
Rome, October 21, 2008 "The
Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs through the Directorate General for
Cooperation and Development has contributed with a financial amount of
1.541.000 euros to UNHCR in response to urgent humanitarian assistance
in Uganda to support the transport and logistic sector in favour of Sudanese,
Congolese and Rwandese refugees.
The contribution will cover needs identified by UNHCR, following the "Consolidated Appeal for Uganda 2008".
