WFP General Food Assistance: The United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) provides General Food Assistance to 1.3 million settlement-based refugees in 13 settlements. Due to resource constraints and a strategic shift towards a needs based prioritisation, ration levels have been gradually reduced from 100 percent to 60, 30 and 0 percent for the most vulnerable (Category 1), the vulnerable (Category 2) and the least vulnerable (Category 3), respectively.

Post-Distribution Monitoring: To assess the effects of prioritisation and ration reduction, WFP has conducted a new round of data collection in April 2024, following two similar surveys in April and September 2023. The Post Distribution Monitoring uses quantitative data gathered through a household survey (asking the same 4,000 households over time) and qualitative data gathered through Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs).
