SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW
The overall district was considered to be in the ALERT across all the livelihood zones. This was mainly because the district has continued to be hit by the zoonotic disease brucellosis (high numbers of humans reported in health centers), the livestock have continued suffering from diseases like CCPP (animals have not yet been vaccinated due to lack of operation costs), and besides there was a high defaulting rate registered in the OTC and ITC reports.
