DRC; Ongoing incursion by joint forces of the government of Uganda, Sudan and the DRC on LRA base in Garamba.
Acholi sub-region; General security situation in Acholi and Lango sub-region is calm
Karamoja sub-region; Security situation is stable in urban centres however rural areas reports incidences of violent crimes
b. Main Events of Interest/Concern for Health
WHO and UNICEF are supporting the district of Gulu and Amuru to evaluate community case management of malaria (Home Based Management of Fever) using Coartem. Members of the DHT have been trained on supervision of data collectors.
3rd round of IRS complete in Kitgum and Pader district. Stock out of anti-TB drugs in Pader district
