ASAM’s Gender Sensitive EQ response

ASAM staff conducts assessments, observations, and surveys in the area to detect the need for the earthquake zone, which has challenging conditions, for basic needs and to understand the situation of people affected by the earthquake in a dignified and gender-sensitive manner, taking into account privacy.

ASAM aims to respond to the needs according to the basic breakdowns of the region, such as age and gender, in the tools used.

ASAM is trying to expand its field operations with these analyses and approaches and provide a more comprehensive service without leaving no one behind.
