300 thousand 809 tents have been installed by AFAD in the Earthquake Zone [EN/TR]

The Disaster and Emergency Management Presidency (AFAD), affiliated to the Ministry of Interior, has completed the installation of 300 thousand 809 tents in the provinces affected by the earthquakes that occurred in Kahramanmaraş.

According to the statement made by AFAD, starting from the first day of the earthquake, the shipment of tents to the region in order to meet the temporary need for shelter of earthquake victims, unremittingly continues.

In addition to tent city areas which were established at 270 points in provinces hit very hard by the earthquake, AFAD also meets people’s demands for tents.

300 thousand 809 tents have been set up in the region.

In this context,

• 69 thousand 766 tents were set up in Hatay,
• 66 thousand 685 in Kahramanmaraş,
• 49 thousand 670 in Gaziantep,
• 45 thousand 852 in Adıyaman,
• 25 thousand 380 in Malatya,
• 17 thousand 515 in Adana,
• 8 thousand 838 in Şanlıurfa,
• 7 thousand 170 in Osmaniye,
• 6 thousand 328 in Diyarbakir,
• 3 thousand 605 tents were set up in Kilis.
