● On 27 May 2014, AFAD - the Disaster and Emergency Management Agency of Government of Turkey - announced that the total number of Syrians registered and assisted in 22 camps located in 10 provinces was 220,488. AFAD reported that during the period of 26-27 May 2014, a total of 30 Syrians were admitted and registered in the camps and 498 Syrians have voluntarily returned to Syria

● IMC - International Medical Corps, informed UNHCR that their organization runs about 5 clinics providing medical services to non-camp Syrians. They reported that IMC's clinics are in Kilis (2), Mersin (1), Nizip (1) and Reyhanli (1). IMC also informed UNHCR that they are in the process of completing the procedures with local authorities to open a clinic in Sanliurfa province as well. IMC reported that the clinic in Sanliurfa will not only provide physiotherapy, but also health services. IMC has also provided medical equipment to both Ceylanpinar and Viransehir camps.

● In Islahiye, the registration of non-camp Syrians is still ongoing in the mobile coordination centers provided by UNHCR. The officials informed UNHCR that, as of early this week, some 7,600 Syrians have been registered. Approximately 540 Syrians were reported as residing in Nurdagi town of Gazinatep. In Nizip officials informed UNHCR that they still continue to receive requests for accommodation in the camp. They report that, due to space shortages, only vulnerable persons are admitted, as space permits. As of early this week, there were still about 37 Syrians waiting in the temporary area of the camp.

● In addition to the 14 Syrians transferred from Kahramanmaras to Viransehir, camp officials informed UNHCR that the remaining 11 persons from Maras have also arrived and another 20 Syrians have also been transferred from Corum. They have been registered and accommodated in the camp.

● Viransehir camp officials informed UNHCR that they received about 60 tents (45sqm each) from UNICEF. The tents are reportedly equipped to be used as classrooms. In Ceylanpinar camp, the officials reported that they are planning organize an exhibition of the products from the vocational courses that have been underway there. The exhibition will reportedly be open during the period of 28-31 May in Ceylanpinar town and the refugees who produced the items
