Islamic Relief's Response
19th August - 10th December 1999
IR responded by sending in 350 winterised tents. These tents have since been made use of as part of a Turkish Red Crescent run tent city in the town of Adapzari. Besides tents, other relief items have been distributed. The total of IR aid programme so far reaches over $350,000

2.2 This week's activities:
During the past week a further 850 food
boxes have been distributed in Adapzari and Duzce
370 hygeine packs have also been distributed in the same areas in this
past week
