Several simultaneous wildfires were recorded near the town of Tabarka in the North West of Tunisia, prompting the evacuation of around 2,500 people in the village of Melloula, Jendouba province.

On 24 July, Tunisia requested assistance from the EU Civil Protection Mechanism in the form of 4 Canadair. The rescEU capacity hosted by Spain was mobilised in response to the request, providing 2 Canadair which are due to arrive on 26 July.
