BANGKOK, 19 May 2014 (NNT) - Mr. Yukol Limlamthong, Deputy acting Prime Minister and Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives, said he has given preliminary approval for 184 million baht in aid, after receiving information that 10,789 houses were damaged in the northern earthquake.
He announced that the Ministry of Finance has approved 184,646,000 baht for earthquake relief, providing 33,000 baht for each family. From a total of 10,789 damaged houses, there are 39 that are beyond repair, and the cost of restoring another 89 houses has exceeded the expected limit.
