Buddhist Compassion Relief Tzu Chi Foundation continues to provide relief to the villagers whose homes were destroyed by torrential rains and heavy flooding in Northern Thailand two weeks ago.

With the cooperation of the military personnel, Tzu Chi's Thailand Chapter mobilized local volunteers to distribute relief packages to the flood victims in Namata Village, Tapla county. Although the weather condition was rather unfavorable, the relief team was determined to carry out the distribution and provide the much needed relief.

Each relief package contained daily essentials, clothing, two towels, two pairs of slippers, one sheet of straw mat, one mosquito net, two gas lighters, candles, one flashlight, one first-aid kit and kitchen utensils. A total of 156 families benefited from such distribution.
