Surin province grants 26 million baht in financial aid to more than 5,500 agriculturalists affected by rainfall shortages.
The financial assistance of 26 million bath or 414 baht per rai was distributed to farmers who ran the combined crop lands of 63,000 rai. The farms cover 84 villages currently affected by dryness.
The money is deposited in a bank account of the Bank of Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives for each of the farmers.
Seven districts experiencing rainfall shortages include Mueang, Chumphon Buri, Prasat, Rattanaburi, Tha Tum, Sanom, and Non Narai.
