Thailand: Suphan Buri to counter possible flash floods

Suphan Buri locals have been warned of possible flash floods due to continuous heavy rainfalls in the past 2 days.

Mrs. Somjet Phromsuntorn, leader of the Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation Suphan Buri division, warned the locals on possible flash floods over the next 2-3 days as a result of continuous heavy rainfalls that had already increased the water levels of Ta Jeen River. Mrs. Somjet further affirmed that the Department has been closely monitoring the capacity levels of water.

Nevertheless, the Department urged all local farmers and residents residing near the Ta Jeen River to closely follow the flash flood warning updates.
